The following is a list of useful links that have been compiled.

In the summer of 2006, Walton High School became Pendle Vale College.  The same array of buildings including the 1920s main building are currently in use.  A brand new, state of the art and giant building is being built in the school playing fields.  When the new building is ready, the pupils will move into it and the former Walton High and Nelson Grammar School buildings will be demolished.

The Official Walton High School website had many useful pages.  In particular there was and still is an Alumni page where ex-pupils contributed, saying what they had been up to since leaving school and some contact details, you can still find this on the official WHS website:  http://www.waltonhigh.lancs.sch.uk/former/1930.htm
